Angers University Hospital is launching its first app for hospital patients: Connect’ CHU Angers. Free, confidential and secure, this digital solution allows you to complete pre-admission procedures remotely before your appointment and offers connected features tailored to your medical care.

Online pre-admission: simplified administrative procedures and time saved on the day of your appointment

With Connect’ CHU Angers, you can:

• Complete your pre-admission:
  • Check and complete your personal information;
  • Submit any missing documents: proof of identity, health insurance card, etc.;
• Be notified by SMS or app notification once your file has been approved;
• Go directly to the care department on the day of your appointment without having to stop at a reception and admissions desk:
  • With the exception of appointments in the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department, for which you must report to the Maternity reception desk to confirm your arrival.

Connected medical follow-up: personalised support tailored to your care pathway

With this module, which is being gradually introduced across care departments, you can:

• Communicate with healthcare teams before and/or after your medical appointment, depending on your care:
  • Complete questionnaires sent by the care team;
  • Receive useful reminders, documents or instructions;
  • Access certain medical documents.

NB: Connected follow-up is not available in all care departments. If this service applies to you, the healthcare teams will let you know.

With this module, which is being gradually introduced across care departments, you will eventually be able to:

• View all your past and upcoming medical appointments at the University Hospital.

Visitor area: simple and direct access to practical information about the University Hospital

Available from the app homepage without having to log in to the patient area, the Visitor area brings together practical information about the hospital to help you prepare for your visit: an interactive map to help you find your way, current health and safety guidance, updates on any ongoing building work, etc.

Activating your patient area:

1. You have an appointment in a University Hospital care department where the app is being introduced: before your appointment, you will receive an email containing your login details.
2. Activate your patient area by following the steps provided in the University Hospital email. If needed, you can also refer to the dedicated Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
3. Complete your procedures online: pre-admission, viewing your appointments, monitoring your care, etc.
4. Keep the app after your appointment so that you can continue to use its other features.
